Want to volunteer and become part of an amazing team in their race to end waste?

Foodprint is a social enterprise set up by Nottingham University students in the hope of reducing food waste and food deprivation in the local community, by providing a sustainable food source.

As a volunteer you will get to interact with our fantastic customers, restock our shelves, process transactions at the till and generally help manage the store. It is a unique opportunity to be in a growing social enterprise and make a real impact.

Through volunteering for Foodprint, volunteers will gain the opportunity to develop their interpersonal and communication skills by interacting with people form diverse backgrounds in potentially vulnerable situations, therefore also developing empathy. This will also give volunteers invaluable experience working in a retail setting.

Usual shifts:

Friday, Saturday and Monday 9am – 1pm and 1pm – 5pm
Sunday 11am – 4pm

Minimum period of commitment: We are extremely grateful for any amount of time that can be dedicated to Foodprint, even if it is just one shift.
