Carrington Primary & Nursery School

About Us

Carrington is a calm, well disciplined school. We have an expectation of good behaviour, and an atmosphere of respect and tolerance.

We are committed to creating a welcoming, stimulating and challenging environment that responds to the strengths, needs and individuality of our children. Expectations are high and educational, social and personal skills are developed within a friendly supportive atmosphere.

About your role

Carrington Primary school are looking for some dedicated volunteers to help make a difference to their popular lunchtime clubs, such Lego club and Chess club! Lunchtime is from 12:10 - 1:10 and they’d love you to come along from these times and volunteer at the club you are most interested in. If you have a particular skill there is also scope to start your own club. They are also looking for some volunteer readers to help the children.

Carrington have recently opened a school garden and they need some volunteers to help them maintain it.  This would be a one off activity so is great if you want to help but don’t have much time to give!

We would like students to commit to attend once a week for the academic year.
