Sutton Bonington

Sutton Bonington is home to both the School of Biosciences and the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.

Known as SB, the campus sits 12 miles south of University Park, and is surrounded by countryside. It's got a unique community spirit and a busy programme of exciting socials, events and activities, including:

  • The famous Farmers’ Market
  • Dining-ins
  • Silent discos
  • Societies Ball
  • Summer Ball

There are also loads of sports clubs and societies to get involved with, so whether you’re a budding artist, avid ambler or keen to start horse riding, there’s something for everyone.

The SB Guild

Everything on SB is organised by the SB Guild, a committee made up of your fellow students. They’re your Students’ Union team on campus, and it’s their job to help run events and activities, make sure your voice is heard, and help you find support when you need it.

But that’s not all. They’re also here to represent and support you, as well as being the gateway to SB’s student Networks and the welfare and support services offered by your Students’ Union. And that makes them the heart of student life on campus.
