An update from your Officers as Nottingham moves into Tier Three image

With Nottingham’s entry into ‘Tier Three (very high)’ Covid-19 restrictions, we wanted to reassure you that we are continuing to support and represent you, to provide the best student experience possible.

Your Students’ Union Officers are working with the University, local partners and the Government to amplify your voice and ensure you receive a learning and teaching experience that is of a high standard.

Portland Building – University Park Campus

The home of your Students’ Union at University Park remains open. If you have any general enquiries then as of Monday 2 November, our SU Reception in the Welcome Zone will be open Monday to Friday 10am – 2pm.

As for our commercial outlets opening times and procedures, they are now as follows:

Mooch is open for food and drink from noon to 10pm daily and are currently operating a table service with socially distanced seating and enhanced cleaning practices in place so you can eat and drink safely on campus. Please note: Tier 3 rules and restrictions apply.

Portland Coffee Co is open for food and drink, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 6.00pm and 10am – 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please note: Tier 3 rules and restrictions apply.

SPAR Portland is open on the following days and times:

  • Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm
  • Saturday 10.30am – 5.30pm
  • Sunday 10.30am – 5.30pm

Portland Printing Co is open on the following days and times:

  • Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm

Please note: Portland Printing Co is closed between 1 – 2pm every day.

Portland Clothing Co is open on the following days and times:

  • Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm

Portland Zero Is open on the following days and times:

  • Monday to Thursday 11:30am – 3:30pm
  • Friday 11:30am – 2:30pm

Jubilee Campus

SPAR at Jubilee campus is also remaining open and has the following opening times:

  • Monday to Friday 10.30am – 4.30pm
  • Saturday 11.30am – 5.30pm
  • Sunday 11.30am – 5.30pm

The changing circumstances that Covid-19 brings means service and times are subject to change at short notice so please keep up to date by checking our website or social media channels.

Our student-led educational and sporting activities on campus will continue in-person adhering to the latest guidelines and adjustments. They will be complimented by a wide range of online social and networking activities.

Our sport centres will remain open and available for session bookings, you can still purchase your membership here.

The libraries will remain open and available for booking of 3-4 hour slots per day more information available here.
