As of Tuesday 5 January, the UK entered onto a national lockdown. Again, we are all faced with a challenging time ahead, and understand the difficulties you are dealing with. We are here for you and continue to stand with you and voice your concerns, see our latest statement here.

By now you will have received communications from your school regarding the start of semester 2 specific to your subject, in response to the pandemic and the growing infection rates. Continue to liaise with your school for more details on accessing learning and when to return.

Our Advice team are available and offer a free impartial service, and they provide confidential support independent from the University. If you need help with academic matters, money, or housing, email suadvice@nottingham.ac.uk and a member of the advice team will get back to you as soon as they can.

If you need financial support at this difficult time, there is help available from the University. Support, resources, and advice on looking after your mental health during COVID-19 can be accessed on our advice pages.

And remember, it is more important than ever to check in on those around you, so have a look at our Reach Out, Check In campaign here for advice and resources.

Here are changes to our services due to the new restrictions.

For committee members of student groups, please check your new student group email account via the SU website, where you’ll find an important update about your activity by the end of this week.

Our student groups continue to provide brilliant online social and networking activities. You can still join groups and clubs, find out more here.
