Harassment, Sexual Misconduct and Hate Crime

The University’s Dignity within the University Policy outlines the policy and procedure to be followed if anyone at the University feels they are being harassed, bullied or victimised.

Within the University, there is a network of trained Dignity Advisers who can help you think about and reflect on the situation and explore the options available, so that you can decide on a course of action. They can also provide support for you during that process and act as a ‘sounding board’.

Any student who is facing harassment can report their issue directly to the University in the following ways:

  • Using the ‘Report Harassment’ tile on the University's 'MyNottingham' mobile app.
  • You can also report any harassment and bullying issues via harassment@nottingham.ac.uk

Once they’ve received a report, the University will make an assessment about the best way to support you – please be assured your report will be taken seriously.
