A warm welcome and friendly advice can really help you overcome the trickier times at University – whether you’ve not started your studies yet, you’re here for the first time or you’re a seasoned student.
And that’s where Students’ Union Advice come in.
Our free, impartial service is completely independent from the University, and we’re here to help you find the support you need with:
We’re also a hate crime reporting centre, and you can report any incidents in confidence.
Because we’re a confidential service, we won’t tell anyone you’ve spoken to us, or what you’ve spoken about, unless you give us your consent (or unless there’s a risk of harm to you or others).
So no matter what stage of study you’re at, or whether you’re a UK or international student, our student advice team are here to help. We’re also happy to talk to your parents too (within our guidelines).
