About Triathlon
***This website is brand new and unfinished, head to www.uontri.com to see lots more details***
The University of Nottingham Triathlon Club (UoNTri) has established itself as one of the biggest, most successful and friendliest university clubs in the country.
With British Triathlon accredited coaches as well as access to world class facilities, the club is aimed at everyone from complete beginners to elite athletes. We strive to offer students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to maximise their athletic potential through regular and structured training. We will support you whatever your personal goal, from simply building a bit of fitness and competing in your first sprint all the way up to qualifying for Kona!
The club takes part in three BUCS races a year, as well as a number of local and national events, giving all members an opportunity to represent the University. We run our own training camp in Majorca, and we are proud to host the Notts Triathlon (formerly Notts Varsity Tri) each year, as well as a number of other events, including both our GoTri and Aquathlon series. On top of this, we hold numerous coached training sessions every week as well as fortnightly socials.
This year we are offering a social membership as well as our standard membership. A standard membership gives access to all of the sessions in the week and requires a UoN Sport Gym membership. The social membership does not require a gym membership and gives access to all sessions outside of the sports centres. We hope that by doing this we are being as accessible as possible and will allow more people to join the tri family!

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
