About Nursing and Midwifery Association
Welcome to the Nursing and Midwifery Association (or NMA page)!
We are a student run associated body within the University of Nottingham aimed at Nursing and Midwifery students.
The NMA aims to:
- Provide a social space and break away from academic work and placement for all nursing and midwifery students
- Put on events and other actvites for nursing and midwifery students that align with our busy timetables
- Represent all nursing and midwifery students within the university and act as thier voice on SU related issues
- Work with university welfare services to offer support to students both in academic study and during placement.
We are made up of a team of committee members:

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
