About Cheer Squad (Medics)
Welcome to our UoN medics Cheerleading page! We are a society open to girls and boys of all abilities and we regularly have exciting socials! This is the perfect society for those who have busy schedules and who are often on placement yet still want the opportunity to participate in a sport. We already have members from Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery and Pharmacy and therefore, we are open to students from all medical courses and all cohorts! We practice once a week and perform for Medics Rugby and Football 2-3 times a year. We also perform at Medics Varsity (Nottingham vs Leceister). If you are up for a laugh and making some amazing friends, this is the society for you!
Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
