About Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Welcome to the University of Nottingham Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club!
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a ground based, grappling combat sport the focusses on lerning how to take an opponent down to the ground and then conrolling and ultimately submitting your opponent.
You will learn a range of submissions, pins and takedowns in both Gi and No Gi sessions.
For those who wish to, competitons are available throughout the year.
We currently train four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
