About A Cappella
We are UoN A Cappella Society!
We are an umbrella society currently consisting of eight a cappella groups.
Each group runs independently, and rehearsals are usually on weekday evenings or weekends.
We organise a concert every semester for groups to perform at as well as workshops and socials for all society members.
The society has one un-auditioned, open to everyone a cappella group, an all-male and all-female identifying group and many mixed auditioned groups.
We encourage everyone try this society as the only thing you need is enthusiasm for singing, and you only need to buy membership if you want to perform with the society.
Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
